Private Investigation, Recovery, and Security Advisory Council
In accordance with Section 493.6104, Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) has established an advisory council known as the Private Investigation, Recovery and Security Advisory Council.
Council Meetings
The council meets at least four times a year to advise FDACS and make recommendations relative to the regulation of the private investigative, recovery and repossession, and private security industries in Florida.
Notice of the council meetings is published in the Florida Administrative Register, on the FDACS calendar and in the Division of Licensing Newsletter.

The council is composed of 11 members. Council members are appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture for a four-year term.
