Hunger-Free School Campus
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) offers the Hunger-Free School Campus designation to encourage schools to play an active role in reducing food insecurity on their school campus and in the community. The Hunger-Free School Campus designation is available to National School Lunch Program schools that have implemented some of the best practices identified by FDACS as ways to reduce food insecurity and remove the distraction of hunger from the classroom.
No plans have been announced for a Hunger-Free School Campus designation in 2021. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and information.
