Applications

Public Viewer: “Identify Wildfire Risk at Home”

Users can pinpoint and zoom to a place of interest, explore map themes and identify wildfire risk. The featured tool in this application is called “What’s Your Risk?”. It allows users to identify fire intensity potential around a home or any other point of interest on the map. It also provides a link to additional resources for users to help reduce their wildfire risk.

Professional Viewer: “Support Your Fire Protection Plans”

This feature is designed to support the community wildfire protection planning needs of government officials, hazard mitigation planners and wildland fire professionals. This application contains advanced functionality and additional map themes. The key features of this application include the capability to define a project area, generate a detailed risk summary report and export and download wildfire risk Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data.

Community Editor: “Assess Homes and Communities”

Allows the Florida Forest Service to create and manage wildfire assessments at the community level. This includes community, home and post-fire home assessments. All information is collected using standardized forms and is stored in a centralized database.
