Exam Fees

The exam fee is $300 per category. The fee for Special Identification in the Fumigation category is $200.

Exam Location

Electronic Exams

Electronic examination is available by appointment throughout the year. Sign up via the Pesticide Certification Exam Website to make an appointment. These exams are offered by the local county extension offices.

The exams are held in the education building auditorium (the building on the left when facing the structures from the parking lot). This facility does not allow smoking anywhere on the property. In addition, there are no vending machines available onsite.

Directions to Exam Site

From: North

Drive south on I-75 and merge onto Florida’s Turnpike (southbound) at Wildwood. Take exit 267A (429 Apopka/Tampa) and go north on State Road 429. Take Exit 27 and turn left (south) on Ocoee/Apopka Road and turn right onto South Binion Road. The facility is on your right in less than a mile.

From: South

Travel Florida Turnpike North. Take Exit 267A (429 Apopka/Tampa) and go north on State Road 429. Take Exit 27 and turn left (south) on Ocoee/Apopka Road and turn right onto South Binion Road. The facility is on your right in less than a mile.

From: East or West

Traveling on I-4 eastbound (from Tampa) take Exit 60 (State Road 429 North). Take Exit 27 and turn left (south) on Ocoee/Apopka Road and turn right onto South Binion Road. The facility is on your right in less than a mile. Traveling on I-4 westbound (from Jacksonville/Daytona), take Exit 90 (Maitland Blvd.) westbound. Follow for about 4 miles and the road becomes State Road 414. Follow State Road 414 and merge onto State Road 429 southbound. Take Exit 27 and turn right (south) on Ocoee/Apopka Road and turn right onto South Binion Road. The facility is on your right in less than a mile.

Pest Management University is allowing examinees to take advantage of reduced room rates. Please ask for the “University of Florida Pest Management University Corporate Rate." Make sure you are speaking with the local registration desk and that your call is not transferred to the national registration desk.

Exam Schedule

Electronic Exams

Electronic exams are available on demand. Sign up via the Pesticide Certification Exam Website to make an appointment. Contact your local county extension office with questions.

Paper Exams

Note: Beginning in December 2019, the Special ID exam will be held on Tuesday afternoon with the Fumigation exam.

December 2021 exams will be held by APPOINTMENT ONLY for approved exam applicants. You must reserve a testing slot. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted. There is a limit of 30 slots per exam session.

Sign up for a December 2021 exam slot. Please note that the sign-up link will not be active until the first week of each exam month.
